ISLAMABAD: A moderate tremor, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale, was felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujrawala and northern territories of Pakistan late on Friday night.
As per the United States Geographical Overview (USGS) 5.1-extent quake was at a generally shallow profundity of 26 kilometers. Its epicenter was 15 kilometers toward the upper east of Islamabad.
On the other hand, Pakistan Metrological Office has recorded extent of the tremor at 5.5 on Richter scale and profundity at 10kms
Other than the twin urban communities, gentle tremor shocked Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Batgram, Swabi, Kohistan, Malakand, Swat and adjoining territories.
Occupants exited their inferable from the tremor. No death toll and property has been accounted for.
