Pakistan, Afghanistan Forces Agree To Shun Border Skirmishes

PESHAWAR: The military of Pakistan and Afghanistan Wednesday held assignment level converses with talk about two-sided issues including enhancing the fringe coordination system and pledged to avoid sub-strategic level encounters at the outskirt.

The two sides consented to enhance respective coordination to evade episodes like a July 1 outskirt conflict in Angoor Ada over dubious development of a door at the intersection point by the Pakistani side. 

The Afghan assignment was driven by Brigadier General Rahim Abdul Qadir while the Pakistani side was going by Brigadier Amir Ahsan.
