The Qur'an is the last Message from Allah to humankind. It was transmitted to us in a chain beginning from the Omnipotent Himself through the heavenly attendant Jibreel (Gabriel) to the Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him). This message was given to the Prophet (peace be upon him) in parts more than a period spreading over give or take 23 years, from when the Prophet was 40 till the season of his destruction (610 CE to 633 CE). The dialect of The Message is Arabic, from which it has been interpreted into numerous different dialects.
The Qur'an is the Celestial book for the Muslims and its power is unchallengeable. For the premise of Islam, it constitutes the establishment, as it is the immediate expression of Allah, the staying building of which is the Sunnah (the case) of the Prophet (peace be upon him), which in spite of the fact that from the Prophet, is the thing that Allah has favored for the Muslims.
