Superintend of Police (SP) Sariab Zahoor Afridi said that unidentified bicycle snatchers riding a motorbike opened flame at his portable when he was crossing the territory.
Two policemen were martyred in the assault while three bystanders endured injuries in the occurrence.
Afridi included that in striking back they murdered one of the assailants while one figured out how to get away.
While salvage endeavors were being made, they were let go upon again amid which a lady bystander was slaughtered.
The assemblages of the perished and the harmed were moved to common clinic.
Police cordoned off the whole territory and tried endeavors to follow out the suspects.
