Texas Judge Gives Man a Choice: Get Married Or Go To Jail

A 20-year-old East Texas man bounced into an immediately orchestrated marriage after a judge let him know a month ago he had a decision of getting hitched or burning through 15 days in prison on an ambush charge.

As indicated by court reports got on Friday, Smith Region Judge Randall Rogers gave the choice to Josten Bundy, of Tyler, Texas, who was captured in Spring on a charge of attack creating real damage, an offense. Bundy had gotten into a battle with the ex of his then sweetheart and now wife.

The judge said he would allow probation if Bundy wedded his 19-year-former sweetheart, Elizabeth Jaynes, inside of 30 days, compose Book of scriptures verses and go to guiding. On the off chance that he declined, he would go to prison, as indicated by a transcript of the procedures got by Tyler television telecaster KLTV.

"Is she justified, despite all the trouble?" Rogers asked Bundy, as per the transcripts.

The spouse's dad was furious at the judge for influencing the pair into marriage and was investigating whether this was legal wrongdoing, he told KLTV.

"He (the judge) can't do this by court requesting some person to be hitched," the spouse's dad, Kenneth Jaynes, said.

The judge was not accessible for a remark. The couple, who had discussed in the long run getting hitched yet did not have prompt wedding arrangements, is glad that they have gotten married.

Be that as it may, did not acknowledge being constrained into it, they told the supporter. They were not instantly accessible for input.

"It simply felt like we wouldn't have the capacity to have the wedding we needed," the new lady told the Channel.

"I didn't even have a white dress." The love birds have posted a photograph of their wedding on Facebook taken from the district court.
