NAB Arrests Former PPP Punjab President

LAHORE: The previous Punjab President of Pakistan People groups Party (PPP) Qasim Zia was captured by National Responsibility Department (Catch) authorities for conferring securities exchange misrepresentation worth over Rs100 million. 

Zia and his accomplice Usman Saeed were captured by Catch in the early hours of Saturday. Zia and others are blamed for offering false shares and conferring securities exchange misrepresentation through an organization. 

The wife of Qasim Zia is likewise among the four executives of the organization. 

Seize has been allowed 14-day remand of the charged by the responsibility court. 

Before entering governmental issues Qasim Zia played hockey for a long time speaking to Pakistan and holds and Olympic Gold award. 

He has likewise served as the previous administrator of the Pakistan Hockey Alliance.
