Swift Action Over Resignations Reflects ‘Double Standards’ Of Speaker: Sattar

ISLAMABAD: Parliamentary pioneer of Muttahida Qaumi Development (MQM) in the National Gathering, Dr Farooq Sattar on Wednesday said he was sure in regards to 'twofold benchmarks double strategy' of the Speaker before bringing the issue up in the house today. 

Addressing Geo News outside the Parliament building, he said, "This wasn't a political bet… we won't come back to the house after today". 

Dr Sattar said he was certain that their renunciations would for all intents and purposes be endorsed as soon as possible, including that the acquiescences of MQM MNAs would be sent for support after lawful procedures today. 

"I was certain presentation of twofold benchmarks and double strategy… I knew I would be dealt with as an alternate Pakistani… I realized that PTI individuals would get diverse treatment than us," he said. 

The MQM pioneer said they made a genuine endeavor to leave from the Parliament and promised not to come back to the gathering. 

PTI individuals, then again, came back to the get together after much mortification, he added.
